Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of Altamura, I recently enjoyed a serene stay at L'Edera, which felt like a warm embrace on a crisp winter's day. The welcome drink was a charming touch, setting the tone for a stay that was both restorative and intimate. I am deeply grateful to our host Matteo, whose friendly demeanor and recommendations, especially the pasta plant tour with his friend, made my experience even richer. Each morning, the delightful Italian breakfast was a reason to linger, where I savored the local flavors while contemplating my family's Altamura heritage. My room was a sanctuary, complete with a private bathroom and bathrobes, which added a touch of luxury. The vibrant atmosphere of the old village was palpable, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. As a solo traveler, I appreciate a space that balances comfort with a sense of community, and L'Edera delivered that beautifully. I left Altamura with a full heart, cherishing the connections made and the stories shared.
